ABOUT VAND PIGE
Vand Pige Photography came to light in one of the darkest periods in American History - the wake of the George Floyd Murder.

Created to drive the narrative of equity and inclusion within the white-saturated world of fine art, photographer Saraa Kami partnered with fine artist, Marissa Oosterlee, to transform her poignant aquatic photos of women of color into masterful paintings.

Collaborating for four years, three photoshoots, and two campaigns, the unlikely duo produced award-winning paintings that were featured in museums and galleries in both Europe and the United States.

In 2024, Saraa decided to strike out on her own , and is working on her first aquatic beauty campaign to be exhibited in the fall of 2025. Also extending her portfolio to include more male models, Kami is excited about coming out of the background and making her own splash in the world of Fine Art.

MEET SARAA
Saraa Kami is a Los Angeles-based portrait photographer who has been honing her skills for over 20 years.

Known in college as "That Girl with the Camera," she has come a long way to transform her passion into one of her purposes in life.
Kami will debut her first solo campaign, Beauty in Blue, in the winter of 2024, with her first all male aquatic campaign, Faded, scheduled to open in Los Angeles in the summer of 2025.

A self-taught photographer, Saraa is best known for her portraits, particularly of women of color in water, which often feature subjects in ethereal settings and poses.

The name Vand Pige is Dutch for "Water Girl" and according to Saraa this sweet phrase embodies the childlike innocence that she strives to convey ithrough her portraits.
